The longer version

The purpose of this app is to help people. The mission is to treat everyone sacredly.

The specifics: You record what a batch costs, how it was split, and then people claim it. If a figure is wrong for some reason, the fix is a conversation. One person marks a payment sent and the other confirms it arrived. Nothing is ever marked paid automatically, by us or by a timer.

When a friend posts food, they answer what is in it — including potential allergens. That answer is a declaration by a person and not a guarantee. If you are cooking, say what is in it honestly. If you are claiming, ask when you are unsure.

Posts are visible to the circles and friends you choose, and to nobody else. Somebody who leaves a circle stops seeing new posts but is still responsible for any outstanding amounts.
